With this kit, you can easily convert your Subaru Forester into a comfortable living space for your adventures. It comes with everything you need to create a functional and stylish camper.

  • Two full extension drawers with heavy-duty locking drawer slides and removable dividers for convenient storage.
  • Four removable false tops that can be used as extra counter space, making meal preparation a breeze.
  • A retractable bed extension provides the longest bed length possible.

You also have the option to choose from handmade wood-mosaic drawer faces or plywood drawer faces, adding a touch of personalization to your camper.

The kit includes an optional convenient slide-out table that slides out from one of the drawers, allowing you to dine al fresco or comfortably work on your laptop.

For a comfortable sleeping experience, the trunk area features an aluminum-framed platform with durable, carpeted upholstery. It extends over the back seats and comes with a folding headrest for added support and convenience. The split bed extension option allows you to have one of your back seats up while still enjoying the other side's extended bed space.

Shipping cost is $500. The campers come fully assembled, and require freight (pallet) shipping due to their weight and size, instead of typical FedEx Ground. Freight shipping is much safer, almost guaranteeing no damage during shipment

Just what I was looking for and more!

I have to say that I expected a great product based on other reviews and contacting Anthony via email. After receiving the Forester kit and installing it in such a small amount of time I'm more than pleased with my purchase.
Plus Anthony was always super fast to return emails and shipped in time for my trip.
The split bed extension add on works perfectly and it's super easy to remove the pieces - one or both - if I'm having back seat passengers. Another plus is that the split bed creates more storage space under the sleeping surface.
The drawers - I love the drawers. I no longer have smaller camping/cooking gear taking up space in too many storage containers - the back of my Forester now has plenty of space for tents, back packs, luggage, a cat or whatever without feeling overcrowded and the space is easy to organize.
I'm almost looking forward to driving coast to coast on my trip home.
Again, it's so simple to install (I'm 5 ft tall, 70yrs old) and the features are incredibly useful. I keep finding ways to use that under the split bed extension storage space.
And Anthony is super responsive to answering questions.

Do it.

This thing is killer. Super easy to install, and is very comfy once you get it set up. I think I’ll just leave it in the car full time because folded up it really doesn’t take much space. Anthony is really responsive and helpful during the buying process. I live in the Florida Keys and his usual pallet delivery service didn’t deliver all the way down here but Anthony paid to have another carrier bring it down so I didn’t have to drive to Miami. Overall a fantastic product and great experience, I’d recommend the compass camper to anyone on the fence. Looking forward to some fun adventures in the future :)

Anthony is awesome. Super talented and kind and obviously makes great custom campers.

Took mine to the coast and to a trail race so far and have received tons of compliments already. Can’t wait to keep rippin around and exploring with my compass camper!!

This is the best Camper Conversion Ever!!!!

I camp all of the time. After considering purchasing another vehicle in order to have an indoor sleeping space (I camp at 10,000 ft) I gave up because of the cost and the fact that I love my Subaru Forester. When I found this Camper Conversion on Etsy, I couldn't be happier. The conversion is well built, sturdy and provided much additional space to my Subaru. Anthony is incredible. He custom made the bed and drawers for my car, always responded to my messages within 30 minutes, and spent 2 hours helping me to understand how to install and move around the platform to accommodate seats up, down, or even to make it compact. I would give Anthony and his product 20 stars if I could!!!
